Design diary

I have recently found an interest in dragonflies. I like their colourful and interesting wings and also the different lines. I took this picture because it was an clear picuter of what I like about them, but I must add that it is a beautiful picture when they spread their wings and fly.
I don't really understand this picture but sure find it interesting. I think it might be the bright orange colour of the fish on the sharp blue that attracted me first. Then I saw the water splashing which I always think is beautiful because no splash or drop is the same.
This piece is from a very inspiring designer. I am not sure what kind of jewellery piece it is, but I like the plain but yet detailed look of it. It makes me think of an barbaton daisy when it is completely open and the bottom petals start to curl backwards.
This ring is from the same designer as the picture above. I have always wanted a ring that is not open at the top with detail overlapping the side fingers. Once again I like this design because of the flower/water drop feel. It is in a shape of an flower, but the shininess of the highly polished metal makes it look like a water splash or drops. I also like it because it is unusual but still a bit plain.
